Tokyo Xtreme Racer: Zero presents a unique twist in racing dynamics. In a departure from standard racing rules, the campaign revolves around Spirit Points (SP) bars that govern battles between players and opponents. These bars act as life force meters for both sides, depleting when they collide or fall behind. Whoever runs out of SP first loses the battle, though diverging paths between cars can result in a draw.In this high-stakes arena, progress is aided by the CP currency. Engaging in battles with opponents earns points, allowing you to buy the cars and parts you need to succeed. If you don't handle your car wisely, its performance can degrade: speeding outside of competition or over-accelerating, especially on turbocharged cars, will cause wear and tear. However, returning to the garage resets the car's performance, giving you the chance to repair it. A list of 165 cars is presented, and each of them has modified insignia to bypass licensing issues, diversifies the field, adding many options and strategies for enthusiasts.
