Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return

Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return is an action-adventure platformer with side-scrolling action and RPG elements. The player controls the main character Tomba, who goes on a quest to defeat the Evil Pigs and save his girlfriend Tubby. A 3D perspective is presented, with movement along pre-set linear paths. When Tomba reaches an intersection point, flashing arrows appear, allowing him to move in the indicated directions. Some areas also offer an isometric view, providing different exploration options. There are signposts scattered throughout the environment, and these serve as save points for progress. You can jump and attack enemies in unique ways. The hero can jump on enemies and bite them on the back before throwing them away. This method increases the magic meter displayed on the screen. In addition, he is able to use various weapons such as flails, boomerangs and hammers to fight enemies. There are various suits that Tomba can wear to improve abilities or provide protection. For example, the flying squirrel suit allows Tomba to fly long distances, and the pig suit allows him to communicate with friendly animals. Defeating boss characters gives him a robe, and this increases special abilities at the cost of some magic. Magic feathers are another important item. These items allow Tomba to instantly teleport to any previously visited area, making navigation and exploration easier.
