Train Fever is a game with a procedurally generated world, which is a strategic simulator of a railway construction company founded in the mid-nineteenth century. The formation of a transport monopoly continues for several centuries: stations, route routes, trains are visually and qualitatively transformed, adapting to the public demands of humanity rapidly developing against the background of the scientific and technological revolution. The project does not have a tutorial, but you can figure out the interface on your own, without prior training.Despite the fact that Train Fever has a fairly simple visual design, the city textures and transport models are realistically designed based on the vintage equipment of George Stephenson's time in Europe. Here you can play as a virtual locomotive, laying road junctions through tunnels and bridges, or as a fantastic train from an era that has not yet arrived. Theoretically, the player's task is to competently lay the track and place traffic lights, stations, depots, and other infrastructure elements. In reality, this mission may not be so simple. The problem with Train Fever is its bugs, which spoil the overall positive experience of the gameplay. In addition, the developers focused on convenient construction without a grid, but at the same time missed a much more significant aspect - in-game balance. The machines have low AI, due to which trains often get stuck in traffic jams, unable to pass each other, and the player has to improvise, unplanned wasting resources.
