The initial challenge is to have the generator repaired. Only the player will feel the taste of freedom, as an accident suddenly occurs, which will deprive all of the tools. To leave the subway tunnels, you need to collect all the lost equipment.

Armed with a crowbar, you need to break through the hordes of the living dead. The main character is hungry, but unlike the living dead, he needs reinforcement in the form of ordinary food.

Locations are presented in the form of claustrophobic tunnels or rooms teeming with hordes of undead. The goal is to reach the main exit and there is no need to interrupt everyone. And it won't work out very well.

Due to the fact that the levels in Tunnels of Despair are randomly generated, the location of tools, weapons, water and food will change every time. The player will never know how difficult the adventure will await him when the game is restarted, because it may happen that the coveted scrap will not be taken just like that and only he alone needs to go through the whole adventure.

The game looks very good, as for a budget product that was pulled by one person. Atmospheric lighting, sound design emphasize suspense and keep you in suspense until the end of the game.
