UFC: Sudden Impact offers a combat experience based on the mechanics of its predecessors. The essence lies in the various fighting styles assigned to each fighter, including various martial arts such as boxing, karate, kung fu and others. In terms of controls, each of the buttons on the face of the controller controls a specific limb of the fighter, allowing for precise execution of moves and techniques. A unique feature of Sudden Impact is the emphasis on maneuvering opponents in the cage surrounding the Octagon ring, offering a variety of fighting positions and strategies. The pace is noticeably faster than its predecessors, increasing the intensity of each encounter. Fights are accompanied by announcements from Bruce Buffer, with Big John McCarthy officiating. Modes include a choice of Arcade or Standard Fight. Arcade mode allows gamers to select a fighter and engage in a series of fights against CPU-controlled opponents, with no limit on the number of fights. Versus allows for head-to-head combat between two participants, promoting competitive and dynamic matchups between friends or rivals. A variety of fighting styles are presented, including boxing, karate, kung fu and others. A control scheme has been created that assigns individual limbs of the fighter to each face button of the controller.
