In Unforgotten, a simple guy tries to save himself in the present, while simultaneously revealing the secrets of the past. At the heart of the visual novel, the gamer will learn the history of a small mining town located in a dense forest. A student studying at the Faculty of Journalism is going to reveal the dark secrets of the settlement associated with the beliefs of the peoples of the north. There are a lot of non-standard characters, there are quests, mini-games and an unpredictable ending, to which the player comes, depending on the choice of the development of events.The guy accidentally finds himself in the center of the story, where he will have to face the activities of a terrible cult. The hero is an ordinary student named Oleg, who is friends with a girl and tries to save her from terrible consequences. One day, the protagonist walks in the park with Rusalina, a childhood friend with whom he is in love. Friends discuss one strange photo that the character found recently. The photo shows strangers and little Oleg. The young man believes that perhaps these are his relatives, whom he met in these places, but does not remember anyone. To figure out what is happening, the guy goes deep into the forest, but an accident happens on the way - Rusalina, in order to avoid running over a deer, turns off and loses control of the carThe guy and the girl lose each other, and soon the hero comes to his senses in a strange house. Here he receives an SMS from a friend who does not understand where he went, but cannot send her a reply. The protagonist meets the grandmother - the owner of the house, who says that her grandson Egor saved him. The gameplay is based on cards from which the gamer receives information and makes a choice by sliding it to the right or left. Here are displayed different options for the development of events and consequences. In the process, the user forms relationships with other characters and a story from which he learns an intricate ending with elements of mysticism.
