Universe Sandbox 2 - continuation of the space simulator, which showed the real behavior of various objects in space. The game can be used as a virtual astronomy tutorial to understand how black holes behave or asteroids move..
At the same time, the game will be interesting not only for beginners, but also for people who know such definitions as Betelgeuse and quantum voids. The space sandbox gameplay will allow you to create objects, interact with them and destroy them using Newtonian mechanics. Moreover, all elements exist in real time, with real gravity and the interaction of matter.
Universe Sandbox 2 allows you to:
- create your own solar system: place a star, add planets, enrich space with satellites, comets, rings and even black holes;
- collide planets and stars to observe how, in physics, planetary bodies interact epically and leave behind molten huge craters;
- simulate the Earth's climate: observe from space how the planet's climate changes depending on the seasons, or how life proceeds on Earth if you move it at different distances from the Sun;
- remember the big bang theory: add age and mass to the star, and then watch how a supernova outbreak occurs;
- with the help of the spacecraft "Juno" and "New Horizons" you can see the eclipse and other events;
- play in VR mode.
The complete Universe Sandbox 2 includes the creation of planets from hydrogen, iron, water and rocks, watching solar flares and tails of volatile gases, pulsars, black holes and, of course, Dark Matter! And who after that will say that science is boring?
