Unto The End is a mix of action and platformer. The game has a third-person view. The camera is located from the side. The graphics in the indie project are hand-drawn and minimalistic. Despite the pleasant and cute picture, there are many cruel and bloody scenes. The title has a well-thought-out combat system tied to timing. For a thoughtless attempt to call an enemy to death, they severely punish you here. The hero can run, jump, somersault, dodge, push off from steep surfaces, cling to ledges, push enemies away with his body. The protagonist fights opponents with a sword. You are allowed to take a dagger or a torch in your other hand. With the help of the blade, the warrior makes different types of swings, and also puts up various blocks and parries. In Unto The End, you can cut off the limbs of enemies. The action takes place in a medieval fantasy world. The plot tells about the warrior's journey home through snow-capped mountains, dark caves and gloomy forests. A father who finds himself in unfamiliar lands is trying to return to his family. A lot of time is spent teaching this man (and the gamer along with him) the art of fencing. The character receives all abilities from the very beginning of the game. The variety of strikes gives room for improvisation during fights. Battles with orc-like creatures alternate with jump puzzles and bypassing traps.
