The plot in Unusual Findings focuses on the adventures of three teenagers. The story brings up the theme of growing up and other issues. Before Christmas begins, Tony, Nick and Vinnie get a cable TV decoder. They wanted to enjoy watching the adult channel, but instead they accidentally picked up a distress signal from an alien ship. As it turns out, the saucer crashed not far from their town. Soon after the crash, the alien began killing the locals. There are different endings. The decisions you make affect the further course of the narrative and the relationship between your comrades.

The title is inspired by iconic movies like "Terminator" Or "Strangers Among Us". The product also strongly mimics the Stranger Things series. Here, too, a sci-fi setting is used, and the time period chosen is the 1980s. Three friends wander around different locations (there's a comic book store "The Emerald Sword", cassette rental "Video blockbusters", arcade "Laser Lamas" and other locations), solve puzzles, interact with non-people. There are several actions to interact with the environment: "talk", "go to", "watch". There is also an inventory for found items, some of which can be combined.
