Uprising44: The Silent Shadows is based on the Warsaw Uprising. Here, action is combined with a real-time strategy and has a deep plot that tells about a little-known civil uprising of World War II, where ordinary Poles rose up against the Nazi occupiers.The game offers 2 modes to choose from:

• Action - third-person play, where the user acts as his ward, watching from behind the shoulder. This way, the user gets more realism, also controlling groups of soldiers who fight in urban conditions. Here you have to move between buildings, through basements, ruins and streets, as well as underground tunnels. In the process, the user enters into battles with enemy invaders, using 16 types of weapons. The weapons are selected depending on the tactics used, where you can order allies, take cover, engage in close combat.
• RTS - here you are offered to lead a group of rebels participating in combat battles on the territory of Warsaw. Battles mainly take place on city streets. The leader not only gives orders, but also thinks over the strategy in conditions that are rapidly changing.

The plot of Uprising 44: Silent Shadows centers on the first paratroopers who are sent to the enemy rear with the aim of organizing resistance and distracting the attention of the soldiers of the Third Reich. The gamer can use audiovisual settings, as well as other customizable parameters and effects that are selected according to his preferences. Here the tempo is also selected - dynamic or more measured.
