Utawarerumono is a game that will allow the user to travel to a colorful fantasy world in the spirit of the culture of the little-known Ainu people. The main character named Hakuoro is found seriously wounded near a small mountain village. The family that discovered him - the elder and healer Tuskuru and her two daughters Eruruu and Aruruu - nurse the protagonist, give him shelter and help him settle in the village, because after being wounded he lost his memory and does not remember who he is. Hakuoro's peaceful life in a quiet remote settlement will not last long - a military machine of a vast empire is approaching him, in need of new provinces and tributaries. Clashes with imperial soldiers and tax collectors lead to the first fatalities. The protagonist cannot leave such injustice unpunished, and therefore begins a war against the imperial government in defense of the freedom of the people. He is joined by warriors from different countries who share his noble goal, and they win. Hakuoro himself becomes the emperor, but the story does not end there.Utawarerumono combines the genres of a visual novel and S-RPG. The player will have to travel around the game universe with a team of comrades, fighting enemies in turn-based tactical battles. In addition, the storyline plays an extremely important role - the user will read dialogue panels through which the plot will unfold, choose answer options and follow the development of the characters' characters and relationships.
