Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines will tell the story of the life of vampires in the modern world. They live among people and thrive, but try in every possible way to hide information about themselves from ordinary mortals. The main character becomes a representative of the immortal race without the permission of the clan council and barely saved his life, thanks to the help of one of the factions of immortals. Now he must complete a number of tasks for them and deal with the mystical events that occur on the streets and in the dungeons of Los Angeles.At the start of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, the gender of the character is selected, as well as the community of the undead, which gave a second life to the protagonist. The choice of clan determines the magical abilities of the main character and the style of the gameplay. For example, the Nosferatu, due to their appearance, are forced to constantly hide, while the Ventrue aristocrats, on the contrary, are used to solving problems with people using negotiations and charm magic. Game mechanics offer various ways of passing, so the game is not linear and variable. For completing tasks, finding special books, experience is awarded, which is spent on leveling up the character. Killing opponents is not encouraged, and does not give progress to a set of new skills.In addition to magical disciplines, 3 types of attributes are additionally leveled up:

• Physical. Their strengthening is necessary to improve the skills of close combat, defense, attack and shooting from firearms.
• Social. They are needed for communication with other vampires and people. With their help, you can manipulate other intelligent beings during conversations.
• Intellectual. Pumping up deduction and science will help you quickly find the necessary evidence and solve the most intricate puzzles.
