Tactical simulator War on the Sea invites you to take part in the naval battles of World War II in the Pacific theater of military operations. The project combines elements of a turn-based strategy with typical attributes of a historical arcade. Events unfold in 1942 in vast areas from Midway and Okinawa to Guadalcanal and the Solomon Islands. The setting contains 50 types of aircraft carriers, cruisers, submarines. There are realistic models of deck fighters. The gamer controls the American fleet in strategy mode, gives orders to each combat unit, coordinates joint maneuvers. The naval battle simulator consists of a set of missions and additional tasks. You have to destroy enemy convoys, fight enemy aircraft, eliminate flagship ships, participate in night assaults on fortified bases of Imperial Japan. The gameplay involves escorting and protecting your own transports, luring enemy ships into prepared traps. War on the Sea is a theatrical game with realistic graphics. The setting offers extinguishing ship fires, repairing damage and pumping water out of flooded compartments. Missions are based on real historical events.
