In Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus, the user will be in the guise of Magos Faustinius, who will have to fly to explore Silva Tenebris. On this planet, the protagonist will try to learn secrets, setting off in search of ancient technologies, and also enters into combat battles with a variety of opponents. Adeptus Mechanicus - tech-priests, whose popularity is not so great in the world of Warhammer 40,000. The faction deals with various devices, devices and mechanisms, settling in Forge Worlds, where they create thousands of complex machines necessary to support the existence of the Imperium itself. Magi and adepts have bodies, parts of which are replaced by mechanical devices.Creatures worship the cult of the Machine God, and the goal of their whole life is to search for a system of Standard Template Constructs. This is a huge database that contains information about all the cars and devices that existed in the world, but one day lost. Magos Faustinius, as the commander of one of the Arks, went to explore the planet Silva Tenebris - the legacy of a powerful and advanced race of soulless mechanical creatures - the Necrons. It is believed that their master is waiting for the time to go to conquer the Universe, and in the meantime he fiercely guards his technologies and the Necrons who have fallen asleep. The gameplay is conditionally divided into two parts - battles with opponents and base management, the functions of which are performed by the Ark Cestus Metallican. Here, the modernization of the mechanics takes place, the selection of the necessary augmentations, equipment, and the next landing is planned. During the missions, the player goes to one of the tombs located on the planet. Also in the process, the Black Stone is mined, which is necessary for upgrading warriors. For completed tasks, new tools, weapons, and improvements are issued. By choosing a mission, the user forms a team of paratroopers, which includes 12 different types of fighters.Tombs are presented as interconnected rooms where a certain action must be performed. For example, the user finds an altar, with which he decides what to do: leave, destroy, desecrate, but any decision affects the consequences. There are only a couple of rooms with combat actions per mission, but the more tombs the user explores, the more necrons wake up, and therefore this is reflected in the number of opponents. When all the enemies wake up, the gamer will be able to engage in battle with the final boss, but by this time it is worth upgrading the squad well. The battles themselves are turn-based, during which no cover is used, and there is no calculation of the probability of hits. The mechanics here are based on the use of Knowledge points - an analogue of action points that do not apply to individual characters, and are earned in different ways. OP can be obtained by exploring individual places, extracting from the dead, using the skills of tech-priests, and points are spent on shooting, damage with melee weapons, healing and certain movements.
