Actions take place in the destroyed world somewhere in the West. The main character has a unique truck similar to a train to wheels. In it, he lives and travels through the remnants of human civilization in search of food and other valuable subjects. Periodically you can meet small cities, where people carefully try to survive together. In them you can always find people who are ready to pay for the implementation of some instructions. This could be anything from helping to get food to ordering the elimination of a group of thugs who are interfering with everyone. Only the protagonist can decide whether he will follow the path of a mercenary or rely solely on himself. His enemies will be not only bandits on the way, but also changeable weather conditions. WasteLand Express perfectly demonstrates the transience of life, as well as the volatility of the world. The gamer can help the city, restore its infrastructure and form something like an economy and food exchange, or pass by and go for a drive through the deserts, where he will find himself a faithful dog. But even if he does not do this, the dog will still find another owner, and the city will change under the influence of society.
