In Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land, users are thrown into the chilling aftermath of the Flash, which devastated the kingdom of Doukhan. Cut off from the world, the protagonist travels through the mysterious Doukhan Labyrinth in search of answers, riches, or the secrets shrouding his own history. Navigating the city involves selecting locations from a scrolling 3D menu, a simple mechanic that makes navigation easier. In the Guild Hall, players regroup and form new members, repeating the initial character creation process. Moreover, they can learn group tactics such as Attack, provided they maintain a minimum of shared understanding - trust that can be undermined by attacking friendly creatures or deviating from the alignment.
