The gameplay is a first person shooter. The main difference between Wolfenstein: Young Blood from previous games is the possibility of cooperative passage. If the player chooses the passage in solo mode, then the partner will be controlled by artificial intelligence. Girls have individual abilities that are pumped as you progress through the game. Girls interact with each other using commands such as "add health" or "add armor".

Experience is awarded for killing opponents. When a certain number of points is reached, the level of the protagonist rises. There is extensive customization of the appearance of the heroines, including painting and improving guns. The ammunition is divided into three classes: light (leicht), medium (gewehr) and heavy (schwer). It is impossible to get to some places, since opponents have acquired a level system. Enemies that do not match the sister level are marked with a red shard. It is worth returning to them after the girls "grow up" a little. With proper skill, it is possible to eliminate them, but it should be borne in mind that they cause colossal damage.

Locations have undergone major changes. The creators of Dishonored worked on their design, bringing elements of an immersive sim into the linear action movie. From now on, there are several options for completing the mission. The gameplay has got additional tasks and the ability to choose quests in any order. Some locations are available for repeated passage.
