A long-winded and convoluted tale, World of Final Fantasy follows the magically gifted twins Reynn and Lann. The duo wakes up early in the game with little understanding of what is going on. Aided by their talking fox sidekick Tami and the inhabitants both familiar and unfamiliar, Reynn and Lann set out on a journey to save their mother and the world, guided not only by a contradictory prophecy but also by good intentions.The core of the gameplay in World of Final Fantasy is the battles of the main characters, who have two special skills: they can switch between their medium-sized human forms and smaller, chibi-style ones, and catch and use the power of monsters called mirages. Collecting them isn't easy, as each has different abilities. Time needs to be spent fine-tuning abilities and combinations.It's easy to get lost in the dungeons where the mirages are located. Each of the various, vast areas is littered with monsters to catch and puzzles to solve. The size of the dungeons will force you to move around a lot and constantly encounter numerous enemies. The number of puzzles required to complete each area is quite large, and it'll take some serious effort to solve them all.The player will also often have to toggle levers to progress further. During their adventures, players must not only collect superpowers, but also structure them in order to build combinations of spells and crushing blows against enemies. There's also the ability to summon certain characters from previous games in the series into battle for a limited time.
