• Humans - inhabit the east of Azeroth, suffer from attacks by the undead and orcs, so sometimes they act not entirely positively, joining cults, enslaving orcs and killing everyone
• Night elves - tall, slender, but muscular settlers Kalimdor. Were immortal while the world tree Nordrasil existed.
• Dwarves - distant relatives of the Dvorfs that came from the Mechanognom - assistants of the titans. Masters of engineering arts and lovers of new technologies.

The player starts at one of the locations - Teldrassil, Durotar, Elwynn Forest. The user selects a ward, taking into account racial and class features, for example, having chosen a shaman, you will have to go on the side of the Horde. Here, a large role is given to quests, for the passage of which, due to the lack of mini-maps, it is important to carefully study the information received for a successful search for enemies and items. The classic world of military craft is a difficult game, and any mistake leads to the death of the hero. For example, there is a task for a journey, during which the gamer must go from the central Crossroads camp, belonging to the Horde, to Northwatch Hold, taken under control by the Alliance, collecting medallions along the way and killing the three leaders. The task is difficult, because in the Alliance fort there are a lot of opponents waiting, attacking in pairs, and the character himself has a small supply of mana and energy at his disposal, and also needs constant water and food to restore them. The raids are classic, but more difficult and here the concentration of the group is important for success.
