Worse Than Death tells the story of a group of high school students, over whom you take control in order to show ingenuity, hide in the shadows and unravel all the secrets of the city. Encounter ghostly creatures and solve puzzles to learn the whole story of Holly and her friends. This is an action adventure where you have to overcome obstacles and hide in nearby shelters to be safe.Puzzles are really difficult obstacles. You will not see the terrible monsters, but you will be able to find out if they are close by listening to Holly's heartbeat, or you can track the monsters using light or sounds. Choose 1 of 3 difficulty modes: normal, hard and nightmare. There is support for keyboard and mouse, gamepads, Nintendo and Xbox. As you progress, you will come across blood, made in pixel art and corpses. There are many bloody walls and objects, dripping blood and terrifying sounds. You have to travel through this frightening atmosphere. But, you will never commit a murder, you will only watch dead or hanged bodies. All crimes are committed before you arrive at a certain location, or after. The main task is to hide and stay alive while unknown creatures are hunting you. The plot includes a romance between two characters and friendly relations between Holly and her company.
