X-Men Legends is an adventure RPG where players assemble a team of four characters from an extensive roster of X-Men. As the game progresses, additional heroes become available, which expands strategic possibilities. A cooperative process for four participants is presented, allowing you to smoothly add or remove enemies during the campaign. A polished combat system and the ability to interact with non-player characters are presented. A skirmish mode is also available, allowing you to face off against one another or face waves of computer-controlled opponents. Character progression involves accumulating experience points, which allows you to upgrade your four primary abilities and other abilities. In-game items that you can discover can be equipped to further expand your abilities. Cooperation is key, with players able to combine attacks to perform powerful combos. Special abilities can be synced to unleash a fearsome Super Combo using the Incredible Power unlocked at level 15. The X-Mansion functions as a central hub, offering a safe haven after each mission. Here, you'll take on the role of Alison Crestmere as you explore the mansion, delving into personal and X-Men stories, and unlocking loading screens, videos, and comic book covers. The mansion features biographies, and computers provide access to quizzes and challenging missions in the Danger Room.
