The task of the interstate squad is to fight all aggressive non-terrestrial civilizations that have a technological advantage.The gameplay is divided into two modes:

• strategy – a base is received at your disposal, it must be equipped and strengthened. The starting point can be placed wherever necessary. As you progress, the squad's stronghold is improved, new buildings are placed on it, research is carried out, combat effectiveness is improved;
• tactical combat – combines classic elements – fog of war, obstacles, civilians. The player needs to defuse bombs, clear the area of ​​mines, free hostages, clean up and explore the area of ​​the crashed spaceships.

The fighters have parameters that determine the amount of health, accuracy and willpower. Squad members have their own role – a damage dealer (assault, sniper), a tank (heavy infantry), a healer (support soldier). Soldiers hired in the barracks do not immediately become privates. Their rank increases after the first kill.
