The plot tells players about an alien invasion, which they will have to fight on behalf of the commander of the secret international organization XCOM. The enemy is superior to humans in almost everything, so you will have to come up with your own tactics. The game is divided into two components - global strategy and tactical operations. The player will also have to solve economic problems: build bases and maintain their existence. Missions are the rescue and escort of civilians, clearing an alien base, eliminating an elite alien, defusing a bomb During the battle, you can perform up to two actions in one turn: running, throwing a grenade, shooting, using a first aid kit. There are fighters of different classes (sniper, stormtrooper, infantryman, etc.d.) and each of them has different characteristics (accuracy, health, willpower).
