XENOBREAKERS: Classic Tower Defense sets the task of defending the character Billy and his team during their advance to the evacuation zone designated as Drop City 237. Their transport ship Lockwood crashed on the desert planet Kernas, requiring intervention from the gamer through an authorized defense system. It is necessary to protect the crew from local threats, including large insect-like creatures and disabled automated droids. The success of the crew's mission depends on preventing enemy units from penetrating through the installed defense gates, and the course of events is illustrated by hand-drawn comic panels. In XENOBREAKERS: Classic Tower Defense, defense is built on 5 basic structures, each of which has its own purpose. It is possible to upgrade these basic structures, bringing them to the point of choosing one of two specialized branches for each type of turret. This system creates 10 different tower specializations, which in total with the basic units gives 15 unique forms of firing points, each with its own abilities and potential for further upgrades. Strategic deployment can include placing flamethrower launchers for close combat or using long-range turrets to eliminate targets from afar. In addition to stationary defensive structures, users can directly intervene in the gameplay by using 4 active skills designed for critical moments during enemy attacks. Progressing through the story allows you to obtain up to 48 different skills, unlocked with medals awarded for completing missions.
