Suddenly, a new threat falls on Earth - an alien invasion, which forces old rivals to unite in order to deliver a crushing blow to the invaders. Before starting the game, criteria are set: whether hints are needed, save points, the difficulty level is selected: Walk, Very easy, Veteran and Impossible.The global map of Xenonauts: Xenophobia (X-Files) displays the defended territory, where humanoid spaceships will periodically appear, trying to grab a piece of land for themselves. The main task is to repel the attack, capture artifacts to study them to discover new technologies and obtain more information about alien organisms, or perform another specific operation. You can engage in battles both on the ground and in the air, using interceptor fighters.After placing a base, a radius is displayed around it, in the field of view of which various objects capable of causing destruction will fall. The building itself can accommodate a storage area, a living area, a laboratory, a workshop, a garage, a hangar, a medical center, and a missile battery. The staff, soldiers, scientists and engineers also play a big role. Each of them performs their own unique job, which affects all branches of development and can shift the confrontation in the right direction.
