XIII (Thirteen) Is a dizzying shooter based on the comics of the same name. The narrative of the video game relies heavily on the spy component, and therefore you have to relive the exciting story of Steve Roland, who learned about the mysterious world conspiracy to take over the world. The protagonist, oblivious to the past, wakes up one day on Brighton Beach in New York to find a strange tattoo 13 and a bank account key. Exciting adventures begin with this event, with a bunch of sudden plot twists and dynamic skirmishes.

The game mechanics of battles do not deviate much from their genre, but they offer new unusual solutions. So, a distinctive feature is the increased naturalness of cruel scenes, like a harpoon completely piercing the body, or the sophisticated use of cold weapons. The general style of the project is done through cel shading, which implies elements of a drawn cartoon and comics. Also, "multiscreen" became an innovation, when several events share the screen and the presence of special windows with inscriptions on the opponents.

The game features a rich arsenal of weapons, consisting of more than 10 pieces of ranged and melee weapons. Among these, we can note the presence of a crossbow, the legendary AK-47, the equally popular M16, and a powerful drum revolver. By the middle of the story, it will be possible to hold one "gun" in two hands, which will diversify the firefights, and add a certain replayability.

There are several main actors in the project:

• The thirteenth is the main character who has become the target of the dangerous Mongoose killer and his henchmen. And after that, the FBI is also prosecuted for the murder of the president. Toward the end, he finds out his real name - Jason Fly.
• Jones is a major in the army, helping in every way to escape from enemies. Is a master pilot and soldier, and the first to know about Steve's innocence.
• Ben Carrington is an ally who has been imprisoned in the Appalachian military base. An entire mission will be assigned to free this general.
• Walter Sheridan is a double agent who is the founder of a secret conspiracy. A very controversial character, with an unusual storyline.
