Yuko and the Akuma Menace is an adventure roguelike about a little ninja Yuko, who is forced to confront an ancient evil. The action takes place in a fairy-tale universe in which several hundred years ago people managed to defeat the bloodthirsty orcs. They were ruled by the ancient creatures of Akuma, who were most often identified with demons. Many years after the victory, mysterious disappearances of people begin again in the world. Witnesses claim that they managed to see orcs. Yuko has no doubt that the invasion has begun again, and therefore sets off on a journey to find a way to stop the return of the Akuma and orcs.The gameplay is simple and looks like this:

• the character moves through levels that are like labyrinths and small arenas where opponents meet;
• in battle, he uses a variety of magic, melee weapons and throws shurikens;
• Outside of battles, Yuko explores the virtual world in order to find lost fragments of memory, with the help of which the character is pumped up - his endurance and strength are improved.

Yuko and the Akuma Menace has beautiful retro graphics in high resolution. The virtual world looks decent - each level is a unique biome with a unique landscape and obstacles. As part of the passage, the gamer will have to overcome a dozen locations, each of which has a different difficulty. A battle with a powerful boss awaits at the end of each of them, and therefore, in the course of overcoming ordinary enemies, it is better to save resources.
