Zemblanity makes it very clear to users what a psychological horror game is. The protagonist receives a letter from an old friend. He claims to have information about the father of the character, who disappeared many years ago. But this is not something that needs to be discussed over the phone, so he makes an appointment at the estate. As soon as the hero gets there, everything changes, and fear and horror roll in from all sides. The guy feels uneasy, but he decides not to retreat and continue on his way to get to the truth. After going through just a few rooms of the mansion in Zemblanity, it becomes clear that there will be no meeting. A friend had his own plans for the guy, and now he needs to think about how to escape from here. The gameplay fully complies with all the canons of horror. It is necessary to move around the location, collecting information in the form of documents and notes, and also try to find new sources of light (lanterns and lamps). This is important, because such a trifle will allow you to detect the monster in advance (yes, they are here) and try to hide before it starts moving. The house is huge, and sometimes the gamer will involuntarily return to already passed places to confuse the creatures and get out of the situation. There are also puzzles, the difficulty of which constantly varies. This can be a simple logic puzzle with sequential switching on of switches or something similar. The creepy atmosphere is also preserved, which is sometimes made unbearable by nasty sounds coming from God knows where.
