Zombie Smashers X2: Punx and Skins is a side-scrolling arcade adventure created by a small indie studio, the same one that developed the original franchise. The new part brings many improvements to the gameplay, visuals and other aspects of the project with a large number of walking dead. The gamer gets a team that consists of motley punks who loved to have fun at concerts and gather on the streets in order to arrange a mass gathering. Now they have been deprived of almost all standard entertainment, because their favorite locations are captured by zombies that died and were resurrected due to an unknown disease. During the gameplay, the player will fight not only with various dead people, differing in appearance, type of damage and amount of health, but also with members of a skinhead gang. Skinheads historically do not like punks, because they represent completely different views on life. The single-player campaign consists of dozens of missions in all sorts of locations, including bars, clubs, alleys and so on. The player controls several characters, each of whom can be upgraded to improve their weapon handling and other stats. Not only your own limbs can be used as weapons, but also katanas, knives, Uzis, hammers, frying pans, pistols, and so on. Most of them will drop from defeated enemies.
