ZEPHON - a post-apocalyptic strategy in the 4X genre, catapults you into the not-so-distant future, where you hold the reins to give humanity a second chance. A world after the world Earth, scarred by a global interplanetary war where humanity neither emerged as a clear victor nor an outright loser. The flora lies decimated, and the remaining fauna has mutated into unrecognizable forms, challenging even Darwin's theory of evolution. The atmospheric oxygen dwindles gradually, sustained only by the resilience of algae in the global ocean, and even that resource has a mere couple of centuries left. Remnants of extraterrestrial beings, once bent on enslaving humanity and extracting all resources from our once-blue planet, now huddle among the wreckage of their scattered spacecraft. Daily, they beseech higher powers for a meager extension of their dwindling existence. Meanwhile, roaming mutant creatures converge in packs, akin to stray dogs, terrorizing the remnants of humanity with relentless assaults. This is the world bequeathed to you, and it is your responsibility to alter its course and attempt to steer it towards rebirth.
