Ayahuasca

Ayahuasca is a project in which the user will go on a strange surreal and even psychedelic journey inspired by images of the inner self. The protagonist in this story is Jan Kunen, a traveler who went to the wildest depths of the Amazon basin forests, to the untrodden jungles of distant Brazil. There live tribes, many of whom adhere to a thousand-year-old traditional way of life and have almost no contact with civilization. They have strong shamanic traditions and communication with the spirit world.To contact deities, spirits and ancestors, they put themselves into a trance using ayahuasca, which gave the name to the entire project. This is a decoction that is prepared for many hours from a couple of dozen species of plants growing in the Amazon forest. Many of them contain hallucinogenic substances, which causes spiritual experiences. The ritual of taking ayahuasca, called the Shipibo tradition, can only be performed by experienced Amazonian shamans who have supported the transfer of knowledge for many generations. In Ayahuasca, the main character will take part in a similar ritual and will contemplate bizarre visions. The peculiarity here is that this observation is carried out using virtual reality, which will provide complete immersion in the atmosphere. The VR device's motion sensors will track the state of the live player and adjust the spectacles accordingly. Some of them may be strange and abstract, others - concrete and frightening.
