The action of the original game takes place in a world made in the classic fantasy setting of medieval Europe, but with added magical and mystical elements. The genre can be described as a tactical role-playing game in which the player takes command of a squad of mercenary warriors fighting various opponents for gold, glory and the accomplishment of an old revenge.The gameplay takes place in a two-dimensional space with a view of the entire place. The gameplay has different modes: first of all, it is a journey and a fight. The team will travel through various locations on a map that is procedurally generated each time anew, which gives the work replayability. When he encounters an enemy, the battle will take place on a field divided into separate squares in a turn-based mode. Each fighter has his own damage and health characteristics, and this is important to take into account during the battle.Legends significantly expands the original, adding a lot of new content. Thus, the prologue, which is a training and plot twist, will receive 8 different options. The number of warriors involved in the battle increases, no one will remain in reserve. Also added are sliders for customizing generation, 6 new noble houses (rulers of the regions) and much more.
