In the Beholgar project, the user will go on an exciting journey through a world full of adventures, dangers and mysteries, made in a fantasy setting. The action takes place in a universe where sword and magic rule, among powerful castles, mysterious dark caves, gloomy forests and shining palaces. All these spaces are connected together into an open world, since the game belongs to the Metroidvania genre. Locations available to the user should be replayed several times, since with a new return with improved abilities there may be undiscovered interesting objects. The plot of Beholgar tells about a kingdom that is going through a disastrous era. An evil sorcerer has appeared in it, who has mastered powerful and dark spells. With the help of dark magic, he wants to summon to the earth a powerful deity, full of evil and striving to sow darkness. To save the state, a barbarian, a master of weapons and a dashing fighter, comes to the rescue. He will move around the game spaces, fighting countless monsters, completing tasks and exploring the world. Over time, his level will increase with the help of magic rings, which will give him access to more powerful magic and deadly weapons. The game has a nostalgic soundtrack and is made in pixel graphics, referring to old console action games.
