Citizens Unite!: Earth x Space plot combines the adventures of the Vice President and the Ambassador of the Earth, who go on a big adventure. The first one explores his home planet, filled with mysteries, robots, mutants and strange locals. While another is looking for this very planet after its mysterious disappearance. However, both will eventually unite in the face of a conspiracy of mysterious aliens, the Chroni, who control time. Only by defeating them will the heroes restore the broken chronology of events.Citizens, unite!: Earth and Space offers two separate campaigns from two different games, converging at one point by the end. Their gameplay elements, however, are similar. Basically, the gameplay is similar to classic JRPGs - characters wander around the global map and individual locations, encountering puzzles, dialogues and battles along the way. The latter are presented in a turn-based format using different heroes with unique abilities. However, instead of a couple of pre-prepared companions, the team is offered to take those same citizens of Earth and space. For example, a barista and a bodybuilder or a robot and an octopus chef. There are 88 such unique companions in total. Each has its own attacks and characteristics, and is also able to pump up, gaining experience in battles. In addition, some of their techniques require completing a mini-game right on the battlefield for successful completion. Other citizens can influence not only battles, but also solutions to puzzles and travel around the world.
