In CivCity: Rome, the action takes place in Ancient Rome. All residents of the state are divided into 3 categories. The wealthy have a home and a job. The homeless do not have their own home, but are employed. They do not sleep on the street, but at their workplace. The unemployed in Rome do nothing and just walk around the city. All 3 classes consume resources. To prevent residents from complaining about life, you need to make sure that everyone has enough food. You will have to manage the ruler of the state. He watches every person and can change their fate at any moment. Example: allocate a residential building to a homeless person. The main resource in CivCity Rome is money. To build new buildings and improve roads, you do not need to mine stone and wood - it is enough to have a lot of gold coins. For the development of civilization, it is important to develop science in the city. Food for citizens is grown on state farms. The agricultural region is divided into areas for the production of flax, olives, grapes, fruits, wheat, dates. Goat meat is eaten by the homeless and unemployed, and only wealthy citizens eat poultry. Fish is also inaccessible to the poor. Types of main buildings and their purpose:
- Administrative center - the city cannot exist without this building, near it you can often meet only newly arrived Romans who do not yet have housing or work;
- Warehouse - a place of work for artisans, all non-food resources are stored there;
- Barn – fruits and vegetables, grain, wine, meat and fish are brought there from farms;
- Well - provides drinking water to all surrounding apartment buildings and private houses, increases the status of buildings, requires 1 person to maintain.
