During their travels, they got tired and did not have time to return by night, so everyone went to bed, and the protagonist remains on watch, steering the boat home. He was also terribly exhausted and fatigue overcame him: he fell asleep along with everyone else. While everyone was sleeping, something strange happened: the ship lost control and washed up on a lost island.The fuel ran out, which means there is no hope of quickly returning home. A terrible blizzard is sweeping around, and the cold penetrates to the bones, so being outside the shelter for too long is no wonder and die (this is implemented in the game mechanics). The island seems uninhabited, but there is still a small hunting lodge on it - an unreliable shelter, but better than nothing. There is a stove and a table that will help you stay alive for some time until you have a chance to leave this sinister place. The gameplay of Dark Journey is about survival. The player will have to monitor many indicators: health, warmth, hunger, and so on. The location is terribly cold, so you need to stay close to the fire. The stove requires firewood, and in general you will have to travel around the area to find new resources there. The hero is threatened by wolves and more sinister creatures, and he will need to find a weapon. The game has 4 endings, which will be led to by the actions taken during the passage.
