In the game Dreamscaper, the user will go to meet the creatures of nightmares, exploring dream worlds. The main character of this story, a girl named Cassidy, moves to the city of Redhaven. There she lives a calm normal life, walks the streets, meets new people. But at night everything changes completely. Reality disappears, and a new universe appears around Cassidy - her dreams, generated by experiences, the subconscious and impressions, surrealistically reborn in the night hours. The gameplay of Dreamscaper is divided into 2 parts. In the 1st, daytime, the player can simply travel through the city expanses, meeting different characters and communicating with them. From this communication, she can learn certain stories, share her experiences, receive or give gifts. This will affect her characteristics and indicators at the moment when the 2nd phase begins - the heroine will fall asleep and find herself in the world that she herself created.In the 2nd phase, the gameplay classifies this game as a roguelike. The user will have to explore procedurally generated locations and levels related to Cassidy's thoughts. They will be full of monsters and beasts, for the destruction of which there is an extensive arsenal of various weapons. Sometimes on the way you will meet terrifying and powerful bosses - the personification of the heroine's subconscious, such phenomena as Fear, Loss and others.
