Duke Nukem: Time to Kill is a third-person action adventure. You will take control of the iconic Duke Nukem, a tough action hero who breaks through different time periods to prevent an alien invasion. The campaign sends Duke on a journey through time. A nefarious alien race called the Drax is manipulating Earth's timeline in an attempt to take over the planet. Duke must jump through time portals and restore order. The adventure begins in a familiar central stage - a seedy downtown area with a strip club, a subway, an apartment, and even a manufacturing plant. Each visit brings a slightly changed environment and enemies, which keeps you on edge. Even strip club dancers aren't safe from Duke's arsenal, though their mutations and transformations add a darkly humorous twist. The main objective is to find three hidden key crystals on the center stage. These crystals are the key to operating a time travel device that allows Duke to travel to different historical eras. Each era presents a unique challenge, from the dusty saloons of the Old West to the clanging steel of medieval Europe and the gladiatorial arenas of Ancient Rome. During these periods, Duke discovers evidence of the Draxes meddling with their pig minions, disguised in period clothing, to alter history in their favor.
