This thinking is well reinforced by the local mayor, who constantly tells horror stories about the external environment and repeats that there is no life there.This stereotype is decided to be destroyed by John - a silent, sullen and serious excavator, and Sam - a child with long white hair, who has a great scope of imagination and fantasy. To overcome obstacles and solve puzzles, you can switch between them at any time to achieve the desired goal. There is a wonderful musical accompaniment, written by Joel Korelica, who distinguished himself with his compositions for Death Stranding and elaborate sound design by the Hyperduck Soundworks studio.Although Eastward positions itself as an RPG, it lacks traditional leveling, upgrading weapons and equipment, and the plot is absolutely linear. The heroes will reveal many lines of characters, see their paths and experiences. The game, emotionally, constantly swings from side to side, sometimes giving joyful and cheerful impressions, sometimes giving way to melancholy and sadness. At the same time, all these swings, absolutely logical and thoughtful, each has a reason and some meaning, which will become clear closer to Chapter 6.
