Effie is a three-dimensional adventure platformer designed to bring back the impressions of passing classic 3D adventures. The plot tells the story of Goland, a young man who was cursed by an evil witch, taking away his youth. Now the hero will go on a journey in the hope of cleansing the world of evil and regaining his youth.The character's only weapon is a shield called the Rune Stone. With it, Goland can fight enemies and move around the country of Oblen. As the game progresses, the shield will acquire more and more new capabilities. The hero will be able, for example, to use it as a boomerang or to inflict damage on an entire area, to make a double jump or dash with it.Effie features many bright locations for exploration: red plains, mysterious caves, desert cities, various dungeons and many others. Players will have to solve many puzzles based on dexterity, the ability to use shield abilities and interaction with mechanisms. Chests are scattered throughout the locations, in which you can find collectibles and runes, which act as experience points. Having collected a sufficient amount, the hero will be able to open a new shield ability. Players will have to fight various monsters - from goblins to fairy-tale animals and ghosts. There are also epic boss fights with a witch who has put a curse on the main character. The game is made in pleasant 3D graphics, which will allow you to immerse yourself in the fantasy world of Oblen.
