A military coup is threatening to begin in Empire of Ember. The king of the kingdom is brutally killed by some cultists. In order to prevent the seizure of the throne and the decline of the state, the main character has no choice but to take a risk and go on a journey. The protagonist is the sole heir of the ruler. He is not some prince with a silver spoon in his mouth - but a real battle mage. Now the guy will fight evil and save people from enemy invaders. Empire of Ember is divided into two game modes:

• First-person view - the gamer will control the main character and complete all the missions for him. And also fight, fight with ill-wishers, using its combat potential;
• tactical mode - when switching, the player has full control over all units. You can monitor the army, give instructions to allied forces, improve and upgrade the settlement.

A pumping system is available. To do this, you need to study new spells from 3 magic schools. Also, during battles, you can use different materials, weapons and hero abilities. To win, you will need to use the features of the environment and the terrain of the battlefield. Troops can be improved and trained to strengthen the military power of the state. Also, the settlement is available for construction. To do this, you will need to extract items and loot, and then build houses, huts, strategically important buildings or living quarters. All decisions and choices will affect the development of the storyline, as well as the ending.
