Enlisted sends you to the battles of World War II, where famous battles are realized. The shooter focuses on multiplayer, and each combat battle is a Campaign, the maps of which are presented in a couple of hundred square kilometers. There are no abstract tasks like capturing a base, but specific plots based on historical events are given. Battles take place on the Western and Eastern fronts, where you can play for the Wehrmacht, the USA, Britain, the Red Army.The user acts as an ordinary soldier who participates in historical battles, where besides him there are hundreds of soldiers, a variety of aircraft and equipment, for example, there is the Omaha Beach landing campaign. The shooter conveys the atmosphere of the chosen theme and the feeling of a real battle. Here a wide variety of roles and tasks are offered, for example, in one battle you will have to act as a mortar man, break through the defense using armored vehicles, provide air support and destroy the enemy with a flamethrower, acting from a trench.Among the Campaigns there are battles for Berlin, Moscow, Tunisia and the invasion of Normandy. Countries participating in the conflict use similar weapons, equipment, armored vehicles and aircraft, which fully conveys the realities of 1941-45. Here there are squads consisting of several fighters who are subject to training, they can be equipped with weapons, equipment and taken to battle. The gamer controls one character, and the rest work under the control of AI, obeying its orders. In the process, the player switches between heroes, being at the required point on the battlefield. The game features such equipment as aircraft, tanks, which are used in combat operations similar to the period of World War II. Among the weapons there are machine guns, sniper rifles, mortars, anti-tank guns, flamethrowers, machine guns. Here the user can also act as a member of the tank crew and an airplane pilot.
