The gameplay is so updated and modernized that it can claim to be a separate simulator game. Despite the fact that in the previous sins of this series many kilometers of roads were wound, many countries and continents were reviewed. About a dozen cities will open in the new part of Scandinavia. Denmark, Sweden and Norway will appear on the map. It will immediately become noticeable that the graphic design has been updated compared to previous releases. If before all the cities were the same, now they differ in architecture. The urban landscapes of Euro Truck Simulator 2 – Scandinavia are diverse, the wooded area changes to a series of lakes, mountain ranges or green fields. A lot of attention was paid to lighting, so the west and east open up realistic sky scenes. We must not forget about one of the main tasks - cargo. There are more of them, up to 80 names. Traditionally, they are divided into: food products, building materials, animals, machine industry. If in more detail, then there may be a task to transport parts from an air windmill or a certain brand of trucks. Everything has become closer to reality, because certain products can only be picked up from manufacturing companies, not from warehouses. Deliver cargo to enterprises in need, for example: bring animals to a farm, not to a base. Attention is also paid to the place where the driver sits. The cabins are very detailed like real ones. The suspension, engine, gear shifting are also improved in the gameplay. Sitting in the driver's seat, you can look at the rearview mirror, turn on the light, adjust the cruise control. The driver is also offered to use ferries, there are 12 in this game.
