Exoplanet: First Contact is a futuristic RPG adventure, where cowboy charisma and advanced technologies of a galaxy far, far away are harmoniously combined in the vastness of wild wastelands. The main character named Jack Sharp is stuck on the planet K'Tharsis, which exists separately from the human colony and is distinguished by a cruel mentality. The plot begins in a landfill, where the protagonist, in his underwear, is searched by two local homeless people. But then the character comes to his senses, scaring off the vagrants, and rises to his feet, examining the nook where fate threw him. The whole body hurts, cats have shit in the mouth, there are no documents or money, but there is an inventory, apparently sewn into the pocket of the underwear.Exoplanet: First Contact invites the player to explore the open world and meet interesting NPCs representing the local community. The graphics here, although not impressive, are quite decent: the textures of the environment are well detailed, the animated objects do not look like cardboard, but the overall picture, unfortunately, is spoiled by bugs and glitches that occur almost at every step. The character grabs at the air, climbing up the stairs, then suddenly his foppish hair disappears, turning for a moment into a militarized hedgehog, but such things are more likely to be funny mistakes of the developers than capable of seriously spoiling the player's mood.Another thing is items for crafting and selling, like garbage lying right under the feet of a space cowboy. For each unit, he is forced to bend down separately, diligently packing it into a quantum compartment on boxers. At the very beginning of the game, instead of setting off to explore K'Tharsis from a low start, the hero collects junk, the proceeds of which are not enough even for clothes. To save strength for the journey, the man must sleep and treat himself to alien cooking. The style of play and the decisions made affect the consequences that adjust the course of the plot.
