The events of Fate/stay night take the user to February 2004. The plot tells about the city of Fuyuki in Japan. It regularly hosts competitions called the Holy Grail War, which are of a secret nature. People with magical abilities take part in these competitions. According to the rules, seven people can fight, who have the status of Master. The Holy Grail itself leads the competitions. He gives the participants of the competition the opportunity to call on 7 servants for help. They are the spirits of legendary mythological figures who managed to materialize.Each of these servants in Fate/stay night belongs to one of seven classes. These are Saber (armed with a saber or sword), Lancer (Warrior with a spear), Archer (Archer), Rider (Horseman), Assassin (Hired assassin), Caster (Performs magic spells), Berserker. These abilities are influenced by the skills that these legendary people possessed in life. The servants' duties include the destruction of all other characters. This will allow them to summon the Holy Grail, which will then fulfill any wish of the champion.Features of the gameplay:

- there are 45 different endings in the game. 2 of them are good, 3 are true, the remaining 40 are bad. The last of them, that is, the bad ones, lead, mainly, to the fact that the main character dies.
