Folding Edge is a card space game that combines several different mechanics. It is proposed to explore space, divided into hexagonal cells, each of which will contain some unit. In order to expand your own fleet, and then destroy opponents encountered on the way, you will have to collect cards. All provided cards have a personal value and, accordingly, power. They will be used directly during clashes in order to somehow inflict damage on opponents.In Folding Edge there are the following items obtained after battles:

• Equipment - additional equipment, as well as new artifacts, types of blows, and so on, which will increase the power of the fleet. These items will be earned for victories, thanks to which the player will gradually develop in accordance with the strengthening of opponents.
• In-game currency - money that can be used in several ways. For these funds, the user is allowed to hire new crew members, each of whom has personal characteristics and amplifiers.

During the battle, the moves are alternate - first, the right to strike is given to the user. There is a certain reserve, the number of points that determines the total cost of the cards being played. A feature of the gameplay is the inability to revive after death. This means that the player has only one attempt - if he dies, then he will have to start the passage again. Each subsequent run differs from the previous one due to random generation - enemies and various objects will be located in different places.
