Fort Zombie tells about a zombie attack on a peaceful town in the USA. In the action adventure, the hero finds himself in a trap, so he has to find a safe haven and prepare for an enemy attack. Zombies are active at a certain time and attack in waves. The user fortifies the selected building, gathers people, stocks up on weapons, ammunition, and also looks for a source of food and other necessary supplies.Events transfer the gamer to the fictional town of Piety, located in the state of Indiana, where his ward is trapped. In the world, all the dead suddenly come back to life, which leads to an apocalypse. Soon, people turn into zombies and eat others like themselves. Having chosen the most reliable building as a base - a school, a prison, a police station, the protagonist gathers other survivors. Periodically, the user needs to make forays for supplies, for example, to stores, gas stations, restaurants, where it is worth saving different NPCs, each of whom is able to help in the defense of the fort with the help of their own skills. The enemies themselves also have and use their skills.The gameplay also has elements of RPG and strategy. First, the user creates a ward, choosing an appearance, a profession that gives the character individual advantages and skills - this is a Doctor, Driver, Criminal, Soldier, Builder, Policeman, Rescuer, Student or Reporter. Then it is proposed to distribute the received basic points on the characteristics - Dexterity, Intelligence, Speed, Energy and Endurance, and the player also chooses 3 skills, for example, healing, melee weapons. There is also a tutorial where you can learn how to shoot correctly and use inventory. At first, the protagonist has a lot of food, a pistol and a crowbar, but soon he has to go out to replenish supplies. Here you have to move quickly, running through the streets, not catching the eye of the enemy or fighting back with a weapon. On the city map, colored markers indicate places where you can replenish provisions. It is important to prepare the base itself, strengthen it before the enemy's attack, in order to withstand all the waves, saving as many lives as possible. People who remain in the fort are useful, carrying out individual assignments.
