Freedom Planet 2 brings you back to the world of Avalice. This time trouble came from the depths of the sea. A water dragon named Merga, previously imprisoned in a crystal cage, was able to escape his confinement. In addition, the main characters from the original ended up on opposite sides of the barricades in the sequel.

The second part has kept its genre. It's still the same fast-paced platformer, mimicking the early Sonic titles from the sixteen-bit console. There are 3 modes available in the sequel: Adventure, Classic and Arena. Enabled automatic protection against enemy attacks. In addition, the developers have redesigned the mechanics of rebirth.

Freedom Planet 2 has four heroines:

• Lilac - dragon girl, the fastest of the four;
• Neera is a frosty warrior who can turn enemies into ice;
• Carol is a wildcat, which is the most powerful character;
• Mila is a dog who can use her ears as a glider and use them to soar through the air.

All the female warriors are available from the beginning. Melee attacks, running, jumping, running wild, swimming under water, curling up in a ball and more. Their characteristics (strength, speed, armor, and everything like that) can be enhanced with various potions. The heroines are also allowed to wear talismans and amulets that give different boosts.
