God Hand is a dynamic 3D action game that immerses you in a world where movement knows no bounds. As the main character Jin, users carry out many attacks using the buttons on their face, using many special techniques. Directional mechanics allow you to explore all angles, and a context-sensitive button facilitates actions beyond basic attacks: from climbing stairs to performing special techniques against special opponents. Dodge moves displayed on the right analog stick add strategic depth to combat. The campaign boasts a rich repertoire of over a hundred moves, from standard strikes to a variety of martial arts styles such as Drunken Style and Capoeira. The game introduces a roulette wheel mechanic that allows for strategic selection of powerful abilities. These moves are dependent on roulette spheres, which can be accumulated by collecting Skull Cards scattered throughout the stages. God Reel techniques, each with a different cost, offer a dynamic combat experience, ranging from launching opponents into the stratosphere to precise strikes to body parts. A key element of the gameplay is the God Hand itself, a power that grows stronger as Jin defeats enemies. A tension meter measures this power, increasing it through successful dodges, taunts, and tension-increasing attacks.
