Halo Wars: Definitive Edition has three game modes: a single-player campaign, online co-op, and online PvP battles. New characters will join the famous heroes of the Halo franchise, and the player will be able to look at the confrontation between the Covenant and the UNSC from a different angle. The story campaign is played for people, but in a network battle you can choose any side. There are six military leaders in the game - three from the UNSC and the alien alliance. Each hero has a special type of troops and special ability.The story missions of Halo Wars are accompanied by videos that reveal the history of the conflict between humanity and alien races. Completed tasks are assessed with medals. Reward points are awarded for the speed of completing tasks and side quests. The gamer can also collect collectibles - boxes and skulls. The former are needed to open an additional chapter. The latter are useful for activating random effects that give an arbitrary head start to the player or his opponent.The player's goal is to contain enemy forces by upgrading your own buildings, equipment and units. The base is built around the central headquarters, spending energy resources on each platform. There are seven such platforms in total. Each building produces a certain type of improvements, expanding the field for tactical maneuvers.
